Code of ethics

The principles that govern how Amaru personnel perform inspection, testing, and quality-assurance work.

Integrity. Amaru personnel record what they observed and measured. Findings are not adjusted, omitted, or reframed to suit commercial outcomes — either Amaru's own or any party to the work.

Impartiality. Personnel declare conflicts of interest before accepting assignments. Technical decisions on inspection findings are made independently of commercial considerations, in line with the impartiality requirements of ISO/IEC 17020.

Competence. Personnel undertake only work for which they are qualified, trained, and authorised. Where a scope exceeds Amaru's authorised competence, Amaru declines or partners with a qualified third party.

Confidentiality. Client information and reports are treated as confidential by default and are disclosed only to the parties named in the engagement, or as required by law.

Safety. Personnel work to appropriate PPE and HSE discipline at every site, and have authority to stop work where safety conditions are inadequate.

Accountability. Every report links to the individuals, instruments, and methods behind it. Concerns about Amaru's conduct can be raised confidentially at info@amaru.iq.
